Frequently Asked Questions
We know that buying a second-hand race bike can raise a lot of questions. Our team is always available to help, and below you’ll find answers to the most common questions about our used race bikes.
Condition
All of the bikes are used race bikes and have been raced at the highest level. Whilst they’ve been pushed hard, every bike has been fully stripped, inspected, and parts replaced where necessary before being offered for sale.

As expected with any second-hand race bike, there may be minor cosmetic marks such as small scratches or paint chips. All of these are clearly documented in the bike’s listing.

There is no carbon damage or structural issue that would affect safety or performance.
If you have any questions, just get in touch. Rest assured, you’re buying a high-performance race bike in excellent condition.
Replaced Parts
As mentioned above, necessary parts will be replaced. Parts that will definitely be replaced are:
-
Wheel Bearings
-
BB Bearings
-
Brake Pads
-
Bar Tape

Why Chinese BB's? (This got asked a lot)
One of the most common questions we were asked throughout the race season was, “Why do you use AliExpress bottom brackets?”
The answer is simple. Cyclocross race bike bearings live a hard life: exposed to bad weather, frequent washing, and high power.

Because of this, we tested the machining quality of several Chinese bottom bracket manufacturers.

The results surprised us. The tolerances are excellent, the compression tube is well sealed, and they use standard bearing sizes. We build all of our bikes with these bottom brackets, then upgrade them with high-quality, fully sealed bearings.
The result is a smooth-spinning, durable bottom bracket designed to last, and yes, some of them even come in purple.

Alternatively, we can pack and post the bike to you for an additional fee of £50.
